Introduction

The below policy is a general privacy policy for the Reinforce Conference organised by JSSC kft (“conference”, “we”, “us”, “our” etc.) and the services we provide through this website on other platforms and the websites of our individual products and additional applications (“our sites”)

We collect different types of information about our users for six main reasons:

  • To fulfil contracted services.
  • To generate a better user experience.
  • To provide personalised services unique to individual users.
  • To help us to improve and monitor the services we offer.
  • To keep attendees up-to-date about the events, products and services they have purchased or subscribed to.
  • If we have permission from the user, to market relevant programs, products and services to them.

In certain cases some of our services have different specific privacy policies,therefore we kindly ask you to always make sure to check these conditions upon registration or signing up to always know how your information is treated. The conference is in synch with all relevant jurisdictions including GDPR and the use of data collected on our behalf is treated appropriately.

Where do we collect personal data?

This privacy policy relates of collection and usage of personal data when:

  • You register to our Conference, Workshop or Livestream
  • You register to our newsletter
  • You contact us for information
  • You use our website through cookies
  • You use our official social media sites
  • You expose information through posting
  • You download the conference app
  • You visit our websites and related subdomains such asthe service provider site that manages ticketing system
  • When you fill out forms, surveys related to our conference and/or programs
  • You allow our sponsors to scan your data during the conference
  • You participate in promotions, games orenter into sales promotions
  • You work with us either as a service provider who receives services such as sponsor, partner, exhibitor or speaker

It certain cases we collect extra information forms to serve certain services we provide (food preferences, your location) so that we can tailor our services and information to you. This may also apply for certain apps.

Main principles regarding data collection:

We take data protection seriously and make sure that we have the appropriate security measures needed to protect your personal information and only provide it to other organizations that we work with who meet the same standards.

We make sure that you are always informed about the purpose of our data collection, process and the later use of it. We do so by your permission and only do so to manage the requested services provided to you, such as your application, subscriptions and your event registration. We also collect only the information absolutely needed to do so.

We only use the information collected about you for the duration of the needed use or that is required by the local authority and delete it securely afterwards.

E-mails with relevant marketing purposes will only be sent to you in case you agree to, and with an opportunity to unsubscribe at any time. You will only receive marketing information from carefully selected third parties, if you have previously agreed.

We provide a clear opt in approval process for marketing emails and you have the right at any time to control and change your provided preferences.

In case we, or our service providers, or our commercial partners transfer any information out of the European Economic Area (EEA), it should only take place by applying the relevant legal instruments or permissions.

Processing your data by legal basis.

Under contract
This is the case when we process your data that you have provided during the purchase of a product or service of ours. This is in case your data is necessary to fulfill our service.

Under legitimate Interest
This is the case when we process your data that you have provided while signing up for our product and service such as an event, workshop or a newsletter. In these circumstances, in exchange for supplying your information we provide you an extensive range of information. This procedure occurs in a way that the balance of benefits is in your favour. In such instances, we always allow you to opt out of processing your data at any time. (Example: news on the next event of ours, )
Similarly, under legitime interest, we might inform you of a closely related product or service that you have originally signed up for.(Example attached meetup)

Under consent
This is the case when we secondary process your data, for instance, sending you a message on behalf of a third party, sharing your data with third parties, transferring it to a third country. You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you, or by emailing us at [email protected] at any time. (Example: sponsor message on job openings, or conference similar to ours)

Following current data protection legislation we make it as easy as possible for you to control your data and to opt out of unwanted processing, in a way, that it does not restrict our ability to serve you with the service you have requested.

It may occur that you (or your employer) are not willing to share your personal data with us, which makes us unable to deliver the service (fulfill our contract ) or data that is required by law. In such cases we may have to refuse your participation at the conference and cancel our service. If this were tohappen we will certainly inform you.

Profiling

We do not carry out fully automated decision making or any fully automated profiling and the rights and freedoms of the data subject are safeguarded by suitable measures.

Nevertheless, we leave the opportunity open to tailor messages and services to you. We may use some elements of your data to do this such as sending you messages that are based on your website behaviour that seem most relevant to you, or offer you services that are based on your home country that you may find interesting.

What information we collect

We request the minimum information from you as a delegate or subscriber. (name, e-mail address, job title, company name, billing address,) Further questions can always be asked for different services such as marketing e-mails or food preferences. Unless we say otherwise, you must answer these registration questions.

We also request voluntary information from you as a delegate or subscriber. (demographic question, company size, marketing questions, question related to your accessibility needs... ) We do this, to improve your user experience, our conference quality and to better serve you as our customer with services or information that is relevant to you. Some of these questions after being anonymised will be provided to our partners in order to provide enhanced services or to make sponsoring or other commercial decisions.

How we use your data

We will process and manage your data under legitimate interest that we have collected during your registration or subscription in order to deliver the requested service. On this basis we will also contact you from time to time to inform you on other events and services managed by us that we believe are relevant to you. Occasionally we will send you emails from trusted partners, or events that we believe would interest you. This will only happen with your permission. At any time you can decide not to receive similar emails and unsubscribe.

We do not sell your data at any time. We only share your data with sponsors or commercial partners only if you provide us specific permission for this (for example opt in during registration or on site you personally allow the sponsor to scan your badge )

How long do we hold on to your data?

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Because we collect data for a wide range of purposes, we do not have a singularly defined retention period. At the same time, for each individual product and service we determine a carefully selected time period within which we preserve your data. We will also list some of our rules on retention periods:

For tax purposes the law requires us to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Financial and Transaction Data) for ten years after they stop being customers.

Data collected with your consent for marketing purposes have no deadline on retention. However, you have the right to opt out anytime from our newsletter or by contacting our data processor.

For research and statistics purposes we may anonymize your personal data in which case we may keep and use this information indefinitely without further notice to you.

After the deadline of data retention expires, your information is managed to ensure that it is either, minimised and retained for legal reasons, erased or anonymised and retained on a global suppression list to ensure that you do not receive unwanted messaging from us.

Why we use Cookies?
