Budapest, located on both sides of river Danube is a place to visit, as it is a city of history, art and a livid nightlife.

Inhabited since the Old Stone Age, Budapest was also the capital of Pannonia during the Roman Empire before the first Hungarians settled here. The first subway on the continent, the second largest Parliament building in Europe, the seven-towered Fisherman’s Bastion are just few of the sites you should visit coming here.

For a cultural detour, you have a wide variety of museums to choose from, or you could also visit Europe’s largest and the world’s second largest Synagogue located in the heart of the city, or simply listen to a concert in St. Stephen’s Basilica, that is also housing Hungary’s first king’s right hand in the reliquary.

For a more careless form of relaxation, exploring the city’s many ruin pubs, labyrinth-like night club chambers, floating concert ships and techno havens is always a good idea.
